ejSchedule - Clear and repopulate scheduler

I have a service that will return appointments within a date range via ajax. Is it possible to clear the schedule of all appointments and repopulate it with new appointments, say when the view is changed to a different month?

By default, Scheduler datasource will be updated with a current month appointments and kindly visit the below KB link to know how to bind the data through the Ajax call.
