Installing mimimal set of .NET libraries for DocIO

My question is this. For a project on a system, I only need to use DocIO and would like to only install the most minimal possible set of libraries on the system. Is it sufficient to install only ASP.NET or ASP.NET.Core packages to use DocIO?

Hi Alexander,

Thank you for using Syncfusion products.

You can use DocIO library by installing specific file format Nuget packages instead of installing complete ASP.NET packages. For DocIO control, you have to install the “Syncfusion.Web.FileFormatsBase” and “Syncfusion.ASP.NET.FileFormats” NuGet packages in your application. You can download the NuGet packgaes from the following link:
http://nuget.syncfusion.com/packages

For more information about the assemblies included in file format Nuget packages please refer the following link:

For installing and configuring NuGet packages in your application please refer the following link:

Please let us know if you have any concern.
