CardLayout with HelpProvider Display Issues

In our application if you open the help using the standard MS HelpProvider class (showHelp method) and then bring up a form that uses the CardLayout object, upon hitting next the entire form disappears (behind the application) until some other part of the application (or the help) is clicked on again.
