Syncfusion upgrade V6 -> V13 Insert Row Issue
Hi guys
I have a legacy application which uses syncfusion XlsIO for building excel reports. We have recently decided to upgrade from V6 to V13 so that we can save in excel 2007 format.
The application gets data, opens a template, inserts rows to make space for the data, and then places the data into the template.
On some templates, we have formulas that refer to the pre-set grand totals in a different worksheet. Using V6, when rows were inserted into the worksheet that has the grand totals, the formulas that referred to them updated themselves fine. However, since we upgraded, the formulas in other worksheets no longer update accordingly to the rows inserted on the referenced sheet?
Is there a setting to correct this? Is there an extra step we should be taking?

Thanks for your reply Ishwarya
I do have another issue, that hopefully will also be getting fixed in your next release? We have these templates, and some have images in them. Logos etc. Now, when we pick up these templates, put our data into them and re-save them, we cannot open the report without getting a message saying that there is unreadable content, would we like to fix it automatically. Click yes, and it opens up fine, but reports that it was to do with the images.
Remove the images from the template and it all works fine.
I believe this is to do with how when the workbook is saved, additional information ends up in the source xml of the file where the images are described which is what messes it up. We found that by changing the xlsx file to a zip file, extracted the zip file and inspected the internal files, located these settings of large numbers (something like 65536) and changed them to something sensible, re-packed it as a zip, then turned it back into an xlsx file, and it opened with no warnings...
Is this something that may be on the cards? Or is hopefully in a later release than 13 which we are currently using?
Many thanks

Do you now have the date when 14.2v will ship? We are currently completing our internal release planning and need to understand the dependency.
Thanks,
