Freeze columns

I have a TreeGrid with x number of columns.When the user scrolls across the treegrid, I want the position of the first columns displayed to be fixed/anchored and the remaining columns to scroll.The idea being that the first columns is always visible to the user.
Is there any way of doing this?

At present there is no support to freeze particular column while scrolling the TreeGrid content. We have logged a feature report for this. A support incident has
