How can i add a tooltip for a cell in the grid ?

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion Support.

ASP.NET Grid do not have in-built support to render tooltip for the grid cells but we can be achieved using client side events such as queryCellInfo and DataBound. We have discussed the same in following KB.
