OData query fails on OPTIONS preflight

When I use the URL for our OData service in the datasource for a grid, it sends an OPTIONS request instead of a GET.  This fails, as the service doesn't allow OPTIONS requests.  Why is this being sent?  Is there something I can do to keep it from sending the OPTIONS pre-flight?

• Details of the request sent to OData Service from Grid.
