How to cleanly reduce width of SfNumericUpDown control without clipping input box?

I'm trying to reduce the width of the SfNumericUpDown control, but it seems that reducing it beyond a certain amount causes the input box to clip. Example:

We were able to reproduce the issue and have logged defect report regarding this. The fix for this issue will be included in our upcoming Service pack release.
