Hi Rafael,

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion PdfViewer.

At present, we do not support creating annotations, comments, text highlighting, text underlining dynamically in our PdfViewer control.

However, we have logged feature report on this and we will implement this features in any of our upcoming releases.

Please, let us know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks,

Uthistran S.

What is the status of this?

That is, does the control implement the features to create annotations, comments, text highlighting, text underlying... dynamically in PDF files?

Hi Shaun,

Thank you for your update.

At present we are not developing any features for PDF Viewer in ASP.NET MVC Classic platform, since it is considered as classic control. So, if you are using the PDF viewer in ASP.NET MVC Classic platform, kindly ship your project to the ASP.NET MVC platform to get the PDF viewer with updated features.

Please find the UG documentation link for the PDF Viewer control in ASP.NET MVC from the below,

We have provided the support for Text Markup Annotation in PDF Viewer from the list of requested features and you can find the online demo link for the same from the below,

The functionalities are available in the Text Markup Annotation in the PDF viewer for ASP .NET MVC,

    • Create
    • Modify
    • Delete
    • Loading the existing annotation
    • Download
    • Print
    • Adding comments to the annotation

Please let us know if you need any further assistance on this.

Regards,
Akshaya
