Word Wrap Performance

I have a sheet with 100 columns and 1000 rows.  When I set WrapText = true for either the Sheet.UsedRange or just looping through and setting it for Columns whose widths exceed 50, it takes 3 to 5 minutes to complete.  Is there a faster way to set WrapText on columns that require it?
