Search functionality functions differently on each browser

Hello Syncfusion,
  • In Syncfusion MVC Classic Grid, we discovered a discrepancy and wanted to clarify if it is a known bug and resolutions available if any in newer versions.
  • We have enabled searching on our grid and are able to search for a particular value typed in the search textbox.
  • While testing the functionality in IE8 and IE10, we discovered that when we enter a text and press enter in the search textbox, the grid is just being refreshed and not searched.
  • However, it is passing the search descriptors correctly in the GridRequestParams for IE 11, Chrome 38 and Firefox 30. And the search result items are populated correctly in the grid.

Given that searching is a basic functionality of Grid, I went over your forum for answers, but unfortunately couldn't get any.

Could you point us in the correct direction?

Thanks!
