Toolbox for Visual Studio 2013 - 12.2.0.36

Hi there,

I'm working for years with Syncfusion toolkit, until now I was using VS2008, framework 3.5.  I'm considering to migrate to VS2013, and for some reasons; using framework 4.0. I was able to import my solution, compile/build it so at that point everything is fine.  But I'm not able to see the Syncfusion components from VS2013 toolbox, I've tried to reset it from Utilities-Toolbox Installer but the tool VS2013 option is grayed, I have 2 possibilities: Framework 3.5/VS 2008 (still installed on the PC) and Framework 4.5/VS2012 for both only "Windows Forms" enabled.

FYI:

  • VS2012 was installed, and uninstalled (lot of performance problem, it was using 100% Disk resources, seen from task manager) before the installation of VS2013
  • PC is running Win 8..1
  • Components are available from VS2008

Any idea to fix that??

Kind regards,

Emmanuel

Hi Emmanuel,

Thanks for using Syncfusion products.

You can configured required framework version controls in Visual Studio toolbox, please refer the below mentioned KB article to resolve the reported issue.

Syncfusion controls does not support Visual Studio Express Edition toolbox. But, we can manually configure Syncfusion controls in Visual Studio Express Edition toolbox. Please refer the below Knowledge Base link for toolbox manual configuration.
