Hi Damiano,

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion products.

Currently DocIO doesn’t have support to load the HTML string into the RichTextBlock. Instead of using RichTextBlock you can use Syncfusion’s SfRichTextBoxAdv control available in WinRT platform to load the HTML as Word document into SfRichTextBoxAdv using DocIO. We have prepared a sample to illustrate the same. Please do find the attached sample.

Please refer the below UG documentation to know more about SfRichTextBoxAdv control:

http://help.syncfusion.com/UG/winrt/default.htm#!documents/addingrichtextboxadv.htm

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Regards,

Sathish

Thank you for the example Sathish.

The result is very well formatted and the control is very simple to use
Only one other question, is it possible to insert video into SfRichTextBoxAdv ?

Hi Damiano,

Thank you for your update.

At this moment, our SfRichTextBoxAdv control does not have support for inserting videos. We have logged this as a feature request in our database. We will implement this feature in any of our upcoming releases. We usually have an interval of at least three months between releases. The feature implementation would also greatly depend on the factors such as product design, code compatibility and complexity.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
Arumuga Perumal S.
