Hi Ed,

Thanks for your interest in Syncfusion product.

Currently we do not have support for these API’s in Orubase. We will consider this features and it will be available in any of our future Orubase release.

Please let us know if you have any concerns.

Is it possible to use Orubase with the native Android APIs such as the one for Bluetooth?

Thanks,

Ed

Hi Ed,

Yes, It is possible to add Bluetooth like additional API into Orubase projects. We can achieve this using Orubase handleScript() method. We have prepared a sample for adding additional API into Orubase project for displaying message and prepared a document on “how to add additional API to the Orubase project” for your reference.

Thank you.

Would it be possible to pass a parameter when calling Android.ProcessJavaScript("CustomScript", null, null);

That way in the method handleScripts different apis methods could be called based on the parameter that is passed.

Thanks,

Ed

Hi Ed,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Currently we do not have option for sending parameter in Android.ProcessJavaScript method. As for now, we can achieve the requirement by passing string which is collection of parameter with delimiter into handleScripts() method by calling Android.ProcessJavaScript( “String”, null,  null ). In handleScripts method, parse the string and redirect to different API methods. We have prepared sample for your reference.

However we will consider your requirement for passing parameter in custom script handling as a feature request and it will be available in any of our Orubase releases

Please find the attached sample and let us know if you need further assistance.
