cannot change ToolBoxExt backcolor

Hi,

I've just upgraded my project to version 11.4.0.26 and have found that some ToolBoxExt controls that had a transparent background now have a white background. It also now doesn't seem possible to change the backcolor property as it automatically reverts back to White. Even for newly added TextBoxExt controls. Is this a bug or is it intended?

We would like to let you know that, TextBoxExt back color needs to be defined once control initialization process is completed.

 

We have prepared sample to meet your requirement and it can be downloaded from following location.

Unfortunately I'm still unable to download the sample you prepared. Has the server problem been fixed yet?

Should the BackGroundColor property be removed from the Properties Window now that the color reverts to white once the form is re-opened or the project is run? It may cause confusion otherwise.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

 

We have logged a defect report for this case. And it will be fixed in our next Essential Studio Volume 1, 2014 which will be released in February, 2014.

 

Could you please find the requested sample in below location?

 

Sample Location: TextboxBackColor.zip

 

And if you would like to avail patch in version v 11.4.0.26 please contact us using Direct trac so that we can provide patch to resolve this issue.
