how to change content of gridgroupingcontrol

Hi,

   I would like create a table by gridgroupingcontrol, and a control by dropdownlist postback.

  ie. 

    select * from table1 where id = dropdown.selectedvalue.

    but when after click on the refreh button, the table content is lost.

    could I have some simple sample for a gridgroupingcontrol controled by dropdownlist?
