CurrentCell SetError Method is missing

I try to use this.gridControl.CurrentCell.SetError but the method is not recognised. IS there any way to change this, is this due to old version. (9.3.0.6.1 is my version)

The currentscell.seterror will work in the reported version. I could not able to reproduce the reported behavior please give me a reproduciable sample, so that I will help you as soon as possible.
