Urgent help

Hi,

We need to perform the following operations from the silverlight application. 

1. Insert an image to the word document programatically.

2. Insert an inline table to the word document programatically.

3. Insert HTML contents to the word document programatically.

4. Embed Excel object to the word document programatically.

Also we need to update the document with updated content periodically.

Please send some POC's that accomplish the above functionalities.

Insert HTML contents to the word document programmatically	At present we do not support for inserting HTML contents in Silverlight application. We have already logged a feature report for this requirement. We don’t have any immediate plan for implementing this support. If you would like to get follow up about the implementation of this feature you can create a support incident in our Direct-Trac.

 

We can also open the template documents and update its contents periodically.

 

Note: There is a known issue with preservation of OLE object in Doc format document alone which will be addressed in our next volume release (Volume 1 2013) which is expected to be released by the start of February month.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer. Can you please let me know whether all these can be implemented in ASP.NET as well. Also while embedding the excel object we need the Excel file and not the ICON. Please refer the attached file. 

Also please let me know whether "Insert HTML contents to the word document programmatically" is supported in ASP.NET. If yes please send me a sample application with all the requirements. 

That will be very helpful for us to proceed further.

Note: For Embed Excel Object to the word document sample we have modified the sample for showing the Excel like content in the Word using the property “DisplayAsIcon” to set as false.
