Hi Hyunho,
Thanks for your interest in Syncfusion products.
|
1. Can convert (or import) our own objects (Visio, svg,..) to Syncfusion
symbols. |
Yes, you can import the Visio symbols into the Syncfusion diagrams either
by using the SymbolDesigner/DiagramBuilder utilities. Please have a look at
the below video to import Visio symbols. Here is the video: http://www.syncfusion.com/downloads/Support/DirectTrac/99882/video173178048.zip |
|
2. Custom symbols should have its own properties and data. (ip, name,
spec) |
Currently, we don’t have Support for adding custom properties in
Symbol Designer. This has been already confirmed as a feature request. For
this, Please create a DT incident for your query so that we can update the
patch for this feature. |
|
However, we are glad to inform you that we have modified the symbol
designer utility to add custom properties for the custom nodes as workaround
and the same can be downloaded from the below link: Here is the modified symbol designer utility: Please replace the above modified Symbol Designer source in the below
path. 1. Kindly take a backup of the Symbol Designer source before
replacing with the new Symbol Designer. 2. In the above symbol designer utility, we have customized the
rectangle node and rectangle tool to add shape data in the above symbol
designer utility. Like this way you can customize the other nodes like
Ellipse, RoundRectangle etc., to add shape data to those nodes. 3. Also note that, You must add the
‘Syncfusion.SymbolDdesigner.dll’ to the DiagramBuilder application or in any
other applications in order to use the symbols which are created using the
Custom tools. |
Please let us know if you have any queries.
Regards,
