Contour plotting

I have spent a few days with WPF chart now.  I am looking for the ability to measure surface elevation and plot that in a 2d space with the Z-index repesented by a colormap intensity.  I can't seem to find a capibility exactly like this although the 3d surface chart and heat map came close.  Unfortunatly the heat map aparently  organizes on its own and the 3d surface chart requires more than one data series.  I only have one data series and need to determine the way the surface is measurea a different way than the 3d surface chart offers.  Is this capability present in WPF Chart?

Hi Aaron,

Sorry for the delay in getting back at this.

We have analyzed your requirement, and we like to inform you as for now we have don't have support for showing different colors in 3d Surface chart and there is already a feature request regarding this in our database. Regarding the heat map the size of the plot is determined internally and this is the default behavior.

Please let us know if you have any concerns.

Thanks,

Michael Prabhu.
