IsTabEditing is read only? Can you make a TabItemExt editable from code?

TreeViewAdv has a nifty .SelectedContainer to get the selected TreeViewItemAdv.  You can in turn set IsInEditMode = true to make it editable from code.

The TabControlExt however doesn't have the same nifty SelectedContainer method, and even when you figure out how to get the selected TabItemExt, the IsTabEditing cannot be set to true because it is read only, even though the documentation on it says "gets or sets..."

I would like to know how to make a tab control editable from the code.

Thank you
