MVC Grid Edit and View Template

Hello everybody,
I want to be able to create a column in a json ManualExcel grid and on one column I want to be able to have a template for view and a template for edit. Different look for different state.

Is this possible, even with hacks and how?

Thanks for using Syncfusion products.

 

Based on our current architecture. We are unable to update the editable control value to view mode control. So we

have considered to implement event which can able to update editable value to view mode control.  

We have logged this as feature request.

 

We will implement this feature in our forthcoming new version releases or service pack releases.

We usually have an interval of at least three months between releases. The feature implementation

would also greatly depend on the factors such as product design, code compatibility and complexity.

We will get back to you once the feature is implemented.
