Hi Hanson,

Thanks for using Syncfusion Products.

Could you please follow the steps mentioned below to perform the toolbox configuration.

1)Run the 'Assembly Manager' utility from the location mentioned below to install the assemblies in to GAC.

Start->Syncfusion -> Essential studio 7.1.0.20->Dashboard->Utilities-> Assembly Management.

or

{Program files folder}\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\7.1.0.20\Utilities\Assembly Manager\

Ex: C:\Program Files (x86)\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\7.1.0.20\Utilities\Assembly Manager\

1)Select Assembly type as ->Prebuilt

2)Select Action -> Install version 7.1.0.20.

3)select Framework ->All

4)Click 'Perform Action'.

Ensure that the syncfusion assemblies for the v7.1.0.20 has been exist in the GAC location mentioned below.

For 2.0 and 3.5 assemblies :C:\Windows\assembly

For 4.0 assemblies : C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL

2)Run the toolbox configuration utility ‘Re-initialize Visual Studio.NET Toolbox’ from the dashboard.

3)Open the visual studio environment and set the Project target framework to ".Net Framework 4.0" , If it set to ".Net Framework 4 Client Profile".

4)Right click the toolbox in visual studio and click 'Reset toolbox' option.

Now you can view the syncfusion controls(v7.1.0.20) in VS2010-toolbox.

Please let us know ,if you have any queries.

Hi Hanson,

Thanks for your patience.

Since the essential studio setup v7.1 won't have 4.0 framework support, respective version assemblies will not ship during the setup installation and those controls are not configured in the Visual studio toolbox(2010).

Please let us know, if you have any queries.

Regards,
Sivaguru S
