Is it possible create heatmap as custom chart

Hello,

How can I do such chart type using essential chart?
Example: http://oi40.tinypic.com/119mfrl.jpg

I think this possible to do as custom chart type. Should be essential chart performance fine with a lot data in color map?

We would like to inform you that based on our current implementation architecture, the chart could not be customized as provided in the sample image.
