Can the PDF Viewer be used in an non MVC environment?

I have a straight ASP.NET v3.5 website and want to know if it can be used to display PDF files in that environment.

Hi Charles,

Thank you for your interest on Syncfusion products.

Yes, it is possible to display the PDF document directly on a website. We can export the pages of the PDF document as images and then we can draw the image on the website. The sample for exporting the pages of the PDF document as images and drawing it on the web application is available in the link below.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Regards,
Suresh

The toolbar and other viewer functions can't be used in ASP.net Web Forms though right?  Only in MVC.  Any plans to port to web forms?  Or silverlight since WPF has one?

Hi Dan,

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion products.

At present tool bar and other viewer functions cannot be used in the ASP .NET web applications and it is only possible in ASP .Net MVC. We have plans to implement PDF Viewer for Silverlight. Please create a direct-trac incident to follow up the implementation of this feature.

Please let me know if you have any concerns.

Thanks,

Suresh
