is the Map control able to use systems like Open Street Maps, Bing Maps or Cloud made as Source for the maps and layers ?

Does it allow integration with SQL server to be able to load the Map shapes or Geometrical shapes from there ?

Hi Gilles,

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support. Currently, we do not have support for Bing maps or open street maps integration with Essential Map control. Also, we do not provide support to load the Map shapes from the SQL Server or any databases.

We have logged these features in the feature report. We will implement this feature in any of our upcoming releases. We usually have an interval of at least three months between releases. The feature implementation would also greatly depend on the factors such as product design, code compatibility and complexity. We will let you know once the feature has been implemented.

Please let us know if you need any clarifications.

I believe that this is out dated and the version released feb 1st 2011 is able to integrate with bing maps.
