Multi line data with Carriage Returns

Hi,

I'm trying to show some data in a cell on multiple lines.
The cell has WrapText true and I set the value to something like "Line1\nLine2"

but this displays on one line with a square box in the middle.

How do I get it showing as multiple lines in one cell in Excel?
