Syncfusion® Achieved Continued Customer Growth and Product Innovation in 2012

Research Triangle Park, N.C.—January 25, 2013Syncfusion®, Inc., a leading provider of components for Windows development, today announced it achieved continued customer growth and product innovation throughout 2012. Licenses grew by over 55 percent (when compared to 2011) and Syncfusion®'s customer retention rate remained at over 80 percent. Additionally, three new products were released to meet the changing needs of Windows developers.

“Last year was an exciting time of change for .NET developers and Syncfusion® was pivotal in helping them successfully navigate these new waters. The unification of touch-based UI with traditional desktop computing is game changing and will transform how businesses use computers. Windows 8 developers using Syncfusion® WinRT controls are building line of business applications with user experiences that would have been unachievable even a few years back,” said Stefan Hoenig, President and CEO of Syncfusion®.

Coupled with quarterly releases, which add new functionality to its Essential Studio® Enterprise Edition, Syncfusion®'s product roadmap continued to expand in 2012 with the launch of three new products:

  • Orubase, a cross-platform mobile application development tool, which enables .NET developers to build hybrid mobile applications with native wrapper frameworks for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone platforms.
  • WinRT Suite, an expansive XAML toolkit with 20 WinRT controls including charts, gauges, maps, diagrams and radial menus.
  • Metro Studio, a free suite of more than 1,700 vector-based Microsoft Design Language icons.

During 2012, Syncfusion® continued to expand its eco-system for .NET developers. Metro Studio was part of several initiatives Syncfusion® rolled out to give back to the Microsoft developer community. The company also began publishing a series of free, educational e-books called the Succinctly series, which it made available on a newly launched Technology Resource Portal. Popular titles include: jQuery Succinctly, JavaScript Succinctly and Objective-C Succinctly.

“Beyond offering the largest set of components and frameworks on the Microsoft platform – Syncfusion® is committed to providing customers with unsurpassed value and building the eco-system they need to succeed. In 2013, that means adding even more innovative components and frameworks to our already robust offering,” stated Hoenig.
