Syncfusion Announces Essential Studio 2008 Volume 3

Syncfusion, Inc., a leading provider of ASP.NET, Windows Forms, Back Office and Windows Presentation Foundation components for the .NET platform, announces its latest release: Essential Studio 2008 Volume 3.

Essential Studio 2008 Volume 3 is the third major version of Syncfusion Essential Studio to support Visual Studio 2008. This version offers an expanded WPF Studio with a new MDI Framework, enhanced ASP.NET Grid features with optimized performance, as well as improved Office 2007 File format support.

Essential Studio 2008 Volume 3 WPF edition offers complete MDI support for WPF. Replication of professional user interfaces from Microsoft such as the Visual Studio.NET interface is quite easy using Essential Studio.

Essential Studio 2008 Volume 3 ASP.NET edition brings strong scalability to ASP.NET. If requirements include any grouping, filtering or sorting on the web server chances are that there will be scalability issues. While there are situations where this is warranted, in many instances it is simply a limitation of the control being used. Essential Grid for ASP.NET can break through that boundary. Essential Grid adds support for an industry-first pass-through grouping mode. This mode allows delegation of data processing work to the database server where it belongs while giving up nothing on the front-end. The users will still be able to group, sort and filter data as before but the application will scale much better.

Essential Studio 2008 Volume 3 Windows Forms is one of Syncfusion’s biggest Windows Forms updates. WPF maybe the new kid on the block but Windows Forms is still the 800 pound gorilla on the business development front. Updates and features were added to each of the Windows Forms products.

Essential Studio 2008 Volume 3 Back Office edition includes expanded support for the Office 2007 file formats. The new Microsoft Office file formats are an international standard making it all the more important that applications are able to read and write such data. With the Back Office components reading and writing Office 2007 files has never been easier. This version provides major updates to Syncfusion’s support for Word documents (docx).
