Syncfusion, Inc. today announced its plans to support the next version of Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio 2008, which is the next generation development tool for Windows Vista, the 2007 Office System, and the Web. Syncfusion is prepared to offer developers the component support they will need to create cutting-edge Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) applications. Syncfusion tools and components will be integrated and available in time for the Visual Studio 2008 shipping date.
On Syncfusion's plans for supporting Visual Studio 2008, Stefan Hoenig says, "Our goals regarding WPF and Visual Studio 2008 are in line with Microsoft's, and, as always, increasing the productivity of developers by providing rock-solid and up-to-date components is Syncfusion's number one priority."

Syncfusion Essential Tools is currently available with WPF support for both Editors and Docking Windows. Syncfusion will continue to update Essential Tools to ensure that a stable and feature-complete version ships with the final release of Visual Studio 2008. Additionally, a beta version of Syncfusion Essential Chart for WPF will be available shortly, with a beta for Syncfusion Essential Diagram for WPF following soon after. Syncfusion also has plans in place to make a feature-complete version of Syncfusion Essential Grid available for WPF in the near future, and expects to have a set of fully functional WPF components available in late 2007.
