Customer Background
For over 30 years, IDEA-ENVI s.r.o. has provided innovative software solutions to better understand environmental conditions. Between their air quality reports and geographical presentations, IDEA-ENVI’s models directly contribute to the advancement of environmental information systems.
Challenges
When you’re building internal applications, it’s critical to have a flexible programming toolkit. Pavel Riedl, a Software Developer at IDEA-ENVI, knew this all too well. He tried using ComponentOne®, but the controls library didn’t give his team the functionality they were looking for. Pavel and his team needed a modular development suite that could be easily tailored to fit IDEA-ENVI’s needs, so he turned to Essential Studio®.
Solution
Pavel and his team used Essential Studio® to develop several in-house tools, and they’re not stopping there. We’ve mainly built internal software tools, but for the last six months I’ve been trying to incorporate Syncfusion® elements into new WPF applications that work with databases—browsing, importing, and exporting data,
Pavel said. Currently, I’ve used SfChromelessWindow, SfDataGrid, SfBusyIndicator, and SfCircularProgressBar.
Pavel was initially drawn to Essential Studio® due to its feature-rich framework, wide range of prebuilt tools and controls, trusted support team, and affordable pricing. Syncfusion® is better than ComponentOne® and has a free license,
he said.
Pull Quote
“It’s worth trying. The range of tools is quite wide, and if I needed advice, they always answered me.”
