My Current Role
I am currently working as a Senior Manager for Bold BI Designer. My role involves understanding product and customer requirements and helping prioritize them based on the value they bring. A key part of my responsibility is balancing individual customer needs with improvements that can benefit a broader set of users and strengthen the product as a whole. I am also involved in shaping product enhancements, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring that new features and updates are rolled out smoothly to customers.
My Experience throughout My Journey
This could include my life experiences, challenges overcome, personal growth, and lessons learned.
About Me
I am naturally an introverted person and feel most comfortable in familiar surroundings. While I may seem quiet at first, I gradually open up as I get to know people and build meaningful connections.
I am also mindful of my habits and believe in maintaining balance and self-discipline in life. Outside of work, I enjoy adventure and love spending time trekking and exploring hills. It gives me a sense of excitement, helps me recharge, and lets me connect with nature.
Finding a Sense of Belonging
One of the moments that gave me a strong sense of belonging was when I was given the opportunity to take on the role of Designer Team Lead. Until then, most of my experience had been on the embedding side of the Bold BI product, and my exposure to the designer module was limited. Even so, my managers trusted me with the responsibility, and that meant a lot to me.
With their support, I gradually learned, adapted, and grew into the role. A particularly memorable moment was when I was told that I had met expectations and that a similar standard was expected across other teams. That gave me the confidence that I was moving in the right direction and reassured me that my efforts were valued.
People Who Influenced Me
One person who has had a strong influence on me is my manager, Rajendran S P. I admire the way he approaches decisions by first providing the right context, encouraging open discussions, and making sure everyone’s perspective is heard.
Watching him work taught me the value of collaborative decision-making. Different people bring different ideas, and discussing them together often leads to better and more balanced outcomes.
That approach has stayed with me. Today, I also believe that the best decisions come from listening to different perspectives and working together towards a common goal.
My Advice To Young Professionals
One piece of advice I would give is to develop the habit of saving from the very beginning of your career. Setting aside a portion of your income early can provide financial stability and make a big difference over time.
I also believe it is important to spend wisely and think carefully before making any major purchase. Good financial habits give you greater freedom and peace of mind in the long run.
As your savings grow, learn to invest them wisely rather than letting them remain idle. Even small, consistent investments can create meaningful value over time.
Focus on what truly matters, give your best to it, and let life quietly shape the rest.

More About Me
Additional insights into my interests, experiences, and traits that shape my journey and perspective.
Gratitude Along the Journey
When I look back on my journey, I feel grateful to everyone who believed in me and gave me opportunities to grow. It began with the people who recognized my potential during the recruitment process and gave me my first opportunity.
As my career progressed, I was fortunate to work with managers and mentors who trusted me with greater responsibilities, encouraged me to learn, and challenged me to grow. Every opportunity they gave me helped shape my journey.
Looking back, I am thankful to everyone who placed their trust in me and played a part in helping me become the person I am today.
What Changed Since Childhood
One of the biggest changes in me has been my confidence in expressing myself. Earlier, I was quite introverted and usually limited myself to brief conversations. Speaking in front of a group or sharing my thoughts openly was something I always hesitated to do.
After joining work, I had more opportunities to interact with engineers and managers. As I gained knowledge and experience, I became more confident in sharing my ideas. Regular interactions through meetings, discussions, and emails gradually helped me express myself more comfortably.
Looking back, I can clearly see how much I have changed. Today, I communicate with greater confidence and am much more comfortable sharing my thoughts and ideas with others.
A Memorable Challenge
One of the most challenging experiences I have had was during a trek near Kolli Hills, starting from Puliyancholai. A group of three of us decided to take a route that did not have a clearly marked path, believing we could find our way with basic directions.
As we moved further, the path gradually disappeared, and we found ourselves crossing streams and walking through unfamiliar areas. By evening, we realized we had lost our way, with no network, food, or clear route back. We had to spend the night in the forest and continued our search the next morning until we finally found our way out.
That experience taught me the importance of planning ahead, staying calm under pressure, and thinking clearly even in uncertain situations. It remains one of the biggest challenges I have faced and a lesson I continue to carry with me.
Life Beyond Work
Outside of work, I make it a point to stay active by going to the gym regularly and setting aside time to travel. I have made it a habit to plan a trip every six months, whenever my time and priorities allow.
I enjoy travelling on my own because it gives me the freedom to explore places at my own pace and connect more deeply with the experience. I see myself more as a traveller than a tourist, preferring simple, meaningful journeys over luxury or comfort.
My Personal Achievement
One of the most meaningful achievements in my personal life was buying a house for my family at an early stage. Although I was born and brought up in Chennai, we did not have a house of our own, which made this goal especially important to me.
I took a home loan with a planned repayment period of ten years, but through consistent effort and careful financial planning, I was able to close it in about seven years. Achieving that milestone earlier than expected gave me a deep sense of satisfaction.
It also marked the beginning of becoming financially independent. Over the years, I have taken responsibility for my major life expenses through my own efforts, and that journey has been one of my proudest personal achievements.
A Lesson from My Journey
One of the biggest lessons I have learned is the importance of continuous learning. I believe the early years of a career are the best time to build that habit. As your career progresses and responsibilities increase, finding the same time to learn becomes more challenging.
I have also learned that learning should be purposeful. Focus on skills that are relevant to your role and help you grow in the right direction.
Above all, build strong fundamentals. Technologies may evolve, but a solid understanding of the basics makes it much easier to adapt, learn, and keep growing.
A Phase I Would Relive
Looking back, I feel every stage of life becomes more meaningful once we move on from it. During school, we often look forward to growing up, but as life moves ahead, we begin to appreciate the simplicity of those earlier days.
For me, that feeling is strongest when I think about my school days before eighth standard. Life felt simple, carefree, and free from the responsibilities and expectations that came later.
If I had the chance, I would happily relive that phase—not just for the memories, but for the simplicity and peace that made it so special.
