10+ Years
My Current Role
I work as the Scrum Master for the Extension team. My responsibility is to ensure that we deliver work effectively while balancing the expectations of both the company and the team. I see my role as bridging these two perspectives, ensuring the team’s efforts align with the company’s goals while also supporting the team in delivering their best.
My Experience Throughout My Journey
This could include my life experiences, challenges overcome, personal growth, and lessons learned.
About Me
I am a calm and composed person who prefers a simple and balanced way of life. Although I am naturally reserved, I become more expressive around my family and friends. I believe this nature has strengthened my patience and ability to observe people and situations carefully, helping me respond with clarity and thoughtfulness rather than reacting impulsively.
My Career Journey
I often feel that I didn’t choose IT—IT chose me. I’ve never been someone who planned my life years in advance or chased a particular career. I simply focused on making the best of the opportunities that came my way. When I joined engineering in 2012, I was initially interested in Mechanical, but my brother encouraged me to choose Information Technology because he believed it offered better opportunities. I trusted his advice and took that path without knowing where it would eventually lead.
My journey with Syncfusion also began unexpectedly. I happened to be in Chennai for a family function when I heard about an interview. I decided to attend it, and it turned out to be the only interview I ever attended. Looking back, what started as an unplanned opportunity became the beginning of a career that has grown far beyond what I had imagined.
My Advice to Young Minds
My advice to anyone starting their career is to focus on what is in front of you instead of worrying too much about the future. Give your best to the work you have today, because every responsibility is an opportunity to learn. I also believe every day should be approached with a fresh mindset. No matter how much experience we gain, there is always something new to learn if we remain open to it. When we stay present, keep learning, and do our work sincerely, the future takes care of itself.
People Who Influenced Me
Mr. Vijayanand was one of the first people who influenced me in my career. Watching the way he approached work taught me the importance of staying calm and planning ahead instead of reacting to situations at the last minute. That approach has stayed with me ever since.
My current manager, Mr. Kannan Subramaniam, has influenced me in a different way. His strong sense of commitment and responsibility showed me what it means to take ownership of your work. Observing the way he handles responsibilities has encouraged me to carry the same mindset in my own role.
Focus on doing your part sincerely, and the right opportunities will eventually find their way to you.

More About Me
Additional insights into my interests, experiences, and traits that shape my journey and perspective.
A Challenge That Strengthened Me
One of the most demanding phases in my career was working on a licensing-related project. It was an important initiative for the company, and we had to complete it within a short period, which meant working late nights and weekends. I experienced similar situations during a few migration projects as well, where meeting deadlines required extra effort. Those phases taught me the importance of commitment and adapting to demanding situations, lessons that continue to help me in my work today.
My Perspective on Leadership
For me, one of the most important qualities of a good leader is staying calm and composed. When we approach situations with patience instead of reacting emotionally, it becomes easier to understand different perspectives and make thoughtful decisions.
I also believe that everyone deserves to be treated with the same respect, regardless of their role or position. A positive work environment is built when people feel valued and heard. Along with that, leadership comes with responsibility. A leader should be willing to take ownership of decisions and be dependable when the team looks up to them. To me, leadership is about creating an environment where people can work with trust, confidence, and mutual respect.
Gratitude Along the Journey
The person I feel most grateful for in my life is my mother. After losing my father at a very young age, everything I have today has been possible because of her strength, support, and sacrifices. Wherever I stand today, I know she is the biggest reason behind it, and without her, my life would have been completely different.
How the Journey Shaped Me
My journey has shaped me in many ways, both personally and professionally. Working with people from different age groups and perspectives helped me understand how different individuals think and respond to situations. This understanding improved the way I handle relationships, not just at work but in personal life as well, making me more adaptable and understanding.
As my journey progressed, stepping into managerial responsibilities brought a different kind of growth. Since I was naturally not someone who spoke out often, being in a position where people relied on my decisions gradually pushed me out of that comfort zone and helped me become more confident. It also made me realize the importance of taking ownership and handling responsibilities with clarity.
In every phase of my journey, these experiences strengthened my decision making and taught me how to approach challenges in a calm, balanced, and reliable way.
Finding a Sense of Belonging
My sense of belonging wasn't shaped by a single moment—it grew gradually over the years. After spending five or six years here, I began reflecting on whether I could see myself in any other profession. The more I thought about it, the more I realized that this was the kind of work I truly enjoyed and could see myself doing for the long term. The supportive work environment and the opportunities strengthened that feeling. Looking back, I feel I am in the right place.
Bouncing Back from Tough Times
Whenever I face a difficult situation, I don't try to solve it immediately. Instead, I give myself a little time before thinking about what went wrong. Once the initial emotions settle down, it becomes easier to look at the situation objectively. I reflect on what I could have done differently, take those lessons with me, and use them to handle similar situations better in the future. I have found that patience often brings the clarity needed to move forward.
Values I Live By
Honesty is the value I try to live by every day. I believe being truthful and straightforward makes life simpler, because there is nothing to hide or pretend. Even when a situation is difficult, I prefer to be open and honest rather than take an easier path. Patience naturally supports that approach, helping me stay calm before reacting. These values have guided me through different phases of my life, and they are qualities I hope to continue carrying forward.
Life Beyond Work
Outside of work, I enjoy simple activities that help me relax. Watching cricket is something I really enjoy, and it has always been one of my favorite ways to unwind. I also have a habit of going for a walk with my friends every day.
During that time, we usually keep conversations simple and lighthearted without discussing work or personal pressures, and that small break helps me relax, refresh my mind, and feel more balanced.
