My Current Role
I lead the Training and Employee Engagement team. My focus is on helping people learn, build confidence in their roles, and fostering a workplace culture where curiosity and continuous improvement come naturally. Beyond conducting training programs, I act as a bridge between our employees and leadership. I spend time listening to employees’ aspirations and creating meaningful pathways for them to develop. Ultimately, it’s about ensuring people feel genuinely valued and supported at every stage of their journey.
My Experience Throughout My Journey
This could include my life experiences, challenges overcome, personal growth, and lessons learned.
About Me
I’m naturally an introvert who enjoys observing more than speaking. It usually takes me a little time to open up, but once I’m comfortable, I genuinely enjoy connecting with people. I value a small circle of meaningful relationships built on trust. Whether it’s my family, friends, or colleagues, I always strive to give my best and make a positive difference in their lives.
Curiosity has always been a part of who I am. I enjoy observing people, exploring new ideas, and understanding the purpose behind the things I do and experience. Rather than simply following what others do, I prefer to understand the reason behind it before deciding what feels right to me.
My Career Journey
Growing up, I never had a clearly defined career dream. Like many students at the time, I was drawn to software and decided to pursue that path. I always believed that whatever I chose to do, I should give it my best.
After that, I entered the job market during the recession, when opportunities were limited. To gain experience, I joined a startup as a developer and worked there for nearly a year without a salary. It was a challenging phase that taught me the importance of continuous learning.
Soon after, I came across an opportunity at Syncfusion for a testing role. I knew very little about testing at the time, but I didn’t want that to stop me. I spent the night before the interview learning about testing and QTP on my own. That preparation gave me the confidence to attend the interview and begin my journey at Syncfusion.
Over the years, I had the opportunity to take on different roles, including development and training. Looking back, every transition has helped me discover what truly connects with me.
A Value I Cherish
Giving back to nature, no matter how small the gesture, is a value I truly cherish. Every year, we celebrate my son’s birthday by planting trees and caring for them as they grow. What started as a simple gesture has become a family tradition that we continue to follow.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, we had not planned to plant trees for my son’s birthday. But that day, he came to me and said, “Appa, it’s my birthday today. We didn’t plant a tree.” His words stayed with me, so we planted trees that day. What touched me most was realizing that this simple tradition had become meaningful to him too.
A few years ago, I had the opportunity to visit one of the trees I had planted nearly 25 years earlier in my native place. I had not seen it in all those years, so seeing it again after such a long time was a special feeling. It had grown so much that I could hardly believe it was the same tree I had planted years ago.
My Personal Achievement
One of my proudest achievements has been conducting a training initiative for people from underprivileged backgrounds who had limited access to education and needed guidance to build their careers.
I had the opportunity to mentor ten individuals. Nine of them have secured good placements, while one is pursuing an engineering degree. Seeing how far they have come and knowing that I played a small part in their journey is one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.
For me, being able to share my knowledge and help someone move forward in life means more than any material achievement ever could.
Keep the child in you alive — that innocence and curiosity are what truly keep us happy.

More About Me
Additional insights into my interests, experiences, and traits that shape my journey and perspective.
What Success Means to Me
For me, success is all about balance. I've never believed that success means reaching the highest position or accumulating more. At the same time, I don't believe in settling for too little either. I simply want enough to live a happy, meaningful, and peaceful life.
Over the years, I've realized that true success comes from understanding what genuinely satisfies you. Once you're clear about what matters most, you stop comparing yourself with others and begin to appreciate what you already have. That sense of contentment brings peace of mind that no achievement alone can provide.
My Perspective on Leadership
Over the years, I've learned that people don't need to be managed in exactly the same way. Each person has different strengths, challenges, and ways of learning. My role as a leader is to understand those differences and help each person find a way to do their best.
I've also learned that a leader's response to a situation often becomes the team's response. When things become difficult, staying calm and focused can give the team the confidence to keep moving.
For me, leadership is less about having all the answers and more about earning trust, understanding people, and creating an environment where they can grow.
How the Journey Shaped Me
Looking back, I can see that this journey has shaped me both personally and professionally. Every new role and transition gave me a different perspective, helping me grow not just in my career but also as a person.
Over the years, I've become more open to change and more willing to step outside my comfort zone. Instead of seeing unfamiliar situations as challenges, I now see them as opportunities to learn, explore, and discover something new about myself. Each experience has broadened my perspective and strengthened my confidence to embrace new beginnings.
Today, I believe growth comes from staying curious, being open to change, and making the most of every opportunity that comes my way.
Reframing My Understanding
Early in my career, I believed that doing my best meant making everything perfect. I would spend a great deal of time refining every detail because I felt nothing less was acceptable. Over time, I realized that striving for perfection in everything wasn't always the right approach.
That realization changed the way I looked at my work. I learned that every task comes with different expectations, priorities, and timelines. Instead of trying to make everything perfect, I began focusing on delivering the best possible outcome within those realities.
Today, I still believe in giving my best, but I measure it differently. Rather than chasing perfection, I focus on making steady progress and continuously improving along the way.
Finding a Sense of Belonging
I never had a single moment when I felt, "This is where I belong." Instead, that feeling grew stronger with every new opportunity I received. Every transition — from testing to development and later to training - brought new challenges, fresh learning, and reassured me that I was in the right place.
Among those transitions, moving into Training strengthened that feeling even further. I was initially unsure because it was very different from the technical path I had followed for years. There were times when I questioned whether moving away from a technical role was the right decision. Around that time, a college friend told me, “You're the one who first taught me programming. If I'm in this position today, it's because of you.” Hearing those words made me realize that teaching and helping others learn had always been something I genuinely enjoyed. Stepping into the Training role confirmed that realization - it wasn't just another career move, but a role where I truly felt I belonged.
A Moment I Would Relive
One moment I would love to relive is from my ride through the Masai Mara. It was a long journey, everyone else had fallen asleep, and I was the only one awake. As I looked outside, all I could see was a vast, open landscape stretching as far as my eyes could reach. There were no buildings, no crowds — just endless space, silence, and the beauty of nature.
It gave me an incredible sense of peace and freedom. For those few minutes, I simply enjoyed the stillness around me. Even today, that memory brings a smile to my face, and if I had the chance, I would gladly relive it.
A Challenge That Strengthened Me
One training batch that stayed with me was our fourth batch, with 79 students. The training began during the cyclone period, and a significant part of it had to be conducted online. Internet and power interruptions affected the sessions, attendance became a concern, and many students, coming directly from college, were still in the mindset of attending online classes. It was difficult to ensure that everyone was engaged and fully understood what we were teaching.
After about half the training days, I realized we were falling behind and the online approach was not producing the learning outcome we expected. I spoke to the students about the purpose of the program and helped them understand that this was not just another college class. They were here to learn how to work in a professional environment and build the mindset needed for their careers. I also incorporated soft skills alongside the technical training, and we worked on weekends to cover the topics we had fallen behind on.
Gradually, the students understood the seriousness of the situation and began cooperating more actively. We still had a few topics left at the end, but what mattered most to me was seeing them learn how to learn. Even after conducting around 50 training batches, this one remains special to me. It pushed me beyond my usual limits and gave me a deep sense of fulfillment because I knew I had given it my best.
People Who Influenced Me
One of the biggest influences in my journey has been the management at Syncfusion. What has always inspired me is their genuine commitment to investing in people for the long term. Their focus extends beyond immediate deliverables; it is about helping individuals build sustainable skills, develop professional confidence, and shape fulfilling careers.
Stephen sir further influenced the way I look at learning and development. His belief that training should extend beyond the organization and help individuals grow into confident professionals changed my perspective. He made me realize that the true value of training lies not just in sharing knowledge, but in helping people grow.
Vijayanand sir inspired me through the trust he places in people. He believes in giving individuals opportunities beyond their existing roles and encourages them to explore their potential. The opportunity he gave me to move into Training reflected that trust, and it changed the direction of my career.
A Message from My Journey
If there’s one thing I would like people to carry with them, it is this: never lose your smile. Life will bring its share of opportunities, challenges, and unexpected turns. We may not always be able to choose what happens to us, but we can choose how we respond.
For me, a smile is more than just happiness. It is a way of staying calm when things are difficult, keeping hope when things are uncertain, and finding the strength to move forward. Over the years, I’ve learned that life doesn’t always have to be perfect for us to find something to smile about.
Keep smiling, keep moving forward, and take each experience as it comes.
