I work as a Testing Team Lead, managing multiple testing teams and supporting engineers across different products. My focus is on planning work, guiding teams through challenges, and ensuring that quality is maintained at every stage. I also work closely with team members to help them deliver reliable results and grow with confidence in their roles.

About Me

I am a calm and positive person who believes in making the most of every situation. Rather than worrying too much about what lies ahead, I prefer to focus on the present, adapt to challenges as they come, and move forward with confidence.

I enjoy learning new things and gaining a deeper understanding of the world around me. Whenever I come across something unfamiliar, I see it as an opportunity to learn and grow. I am also someone who values commitment and likes to see things through once I take them up.

This mindset has helped me stay grounded and continue growing throughout my journey.

My Career Journey

From a young age, I dreamed of becoming an engineer and building a career in IT, inspired by my uncle who worked in the field. After completing my degree, I came to Chennai during a recession in search of opportunities. It was a challenging phase, but it gave me my first real exposure to the realities of building a career.

I began my professional journey in manual testing, where I gained valuable industry experience and later had the opportunity to lead a small team. During that time, I also started learning automation, which expanded my skills and opened new opportunities for growth.

A few years earlier, I had attended an interview at Syncfusion but wasn’t selected. When another opportunity came in 2015 through a friend, I decided to give it another try. This time, I was selected.

Looking back, my journey has been shaped by continuous learning, adaptability, and making the most of every opportunity that came my way.

A Challenge that Strengthened Me

One of the most challenging experiences in my career came when I was asked to develop a utility to address recurring build-related issues. At the time, my experience was primarily in testing and automation, with very little exposure to developing technical utilities, so it was something completely new to me.

What helped me move forward was the guidance I received from my manager, karthick. Instead of providing the solution, he gave me the right direction and encouraged me to explore and figure things out on my own. Through that process, I was able to complete the utility successfully and gain a deeper understanding of problem-solving.

More importantly, the experience gave me the confidence to take on unfamiliar challenges and reinforced an important lesson: with the right mindset and support, every challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow.

People Who Inspired Me

Personally, my biggest inspiration has always been my parents. As farmers, they worked hard to give my sister and me a good education and a better life, making countless sacrifices along the way. Their determination made it possible for us to pursue engineering and build successful careers. Whatever I am today is largely because of the effort they put into shaping our future.

Professionally, I have been influenced by the people I worked with – Lingaraj, Balaji Murugesan, Anandakumar, and Karthik. As managers, leaders, and mentors at different stages of my career, they have guided me not only in my work but also in the way I approach situations and grow as a person.

The right guidance can show you the path, but your willingness to learn and grow is what moves you forward.

Finding a Sense of Belonging

For me, the strongest sense of belonging comes from being fully engaged in the work. Release periods are often the best example of this, as they require complete focus, problem-solving, and close collaboration with the team. Those moments keep me involved, challenged, and constantly learning.

What has made the experience even more meaningful is the culture of support and knowledge sharing. Whether it was understanding a technical concept or solving a complex issue, there was always someone willing to guide and help. Over time, that collaborative environment and shared sense of purpose made me feel that this was where I truly belonged.
