My Current Role
I work on PDF Viewer in the Essential Studio team. My focus is on continuously improving the product by understanding customer needs, identifying areas for enhancement, and ensuring we address gaps in features and documentation. I work closely with teams to prioritize improvements and guide the product roadmap based on customer feedback and business goals. My responsibility is to ensure the PDF Viewer continues to deliver a reliable and valuable experience while evolving to meet changing customer expectations.
My Experience Throughout My Journey
This could include my life experiences, challenges overcome, personal growth, and lessons learned.
About Me
I’m generally a calm and composed person who prefers to think through situations before taking action. Even among my friends, I tend to be quiet, so it usually takes time for people to get to know me well. I prefer handling things independently and believe in giving others the same space and freedom.
Coming from an agricultural family, I spent much of my younger days helping my father in the fields and at our family grocery shop. Those experiences have remained an important part of who I am and continue to keep me connected to my roots.
Early Dreams
From a young age, I wanted to become a police officer, especially a DSP. Growing up in an interior part of Theni district near the Kerala border, I often saw the respect people had for the police, and that left a strong impression on me. Even while pursuing engineering, I continued preparing for the exams. However, family circumstances led me to start working after college, and that was when I joined Syncfusion. Even after joining, I continued pursuing my ambition alongside my work.
A turning point came during a passport verification visit to a police station. At the time, I was working as a Senior Developer. During a conversation, the officer spoke openly about the challenges that came with his profession. Listening to his experiences made me reflect on the path I was already on. Looking back, I do not feel that I left a dream behind. Instead, I found a different path that gave me the opportunity to grow and build a stable future, and I am grateful for where it has brought me today.
My Inspiration
My inspiration has always been Vijayakumar sir. What I admire most about him is the way he approaches challenges and people. Whenever I felt stuck or frustrated with a task, he never focused on why it wasn’t completed. Instead, he took the time to understand the complexity of the problem and encouraged me to keep moving forward.
Even when I needed additional time, he continued to trust my efforts and motivate me rather than discourage me. Watching him handle multiple products and challenges while maintaining the same calm and supportive approach has taught me a lot about leadership.
Moments That Make Me Smile
One memory that still brings a smile is from my early days at the office, especially during lunch breaks. Where I used to spend that time with friends, standing outside and just talking about anything and everything. It never felt like conversations between colleagues as it felt more like being with a group of close friends. Those moments were always lively and full of laughter. At the same time, we ended up learning a lot without even realizing it. Someone would share something new, whether it was from a TV show, a WhatsApp message, or even a technical update from somewhere like Microsoft. In that short time, we would pick up many small things and stay updated in our own way. Now when I look back, I realize how special those moments were, and I do miss them. But even thinking about them today still brings a smile.
Never stop by saying it’s not possible. Keep trying until you find a way.

Memorable Advice
One piece of advice that has stayed with me came from
Vijayakumar S sir. Whenever we faced a difficult problem, his response was always the same: keep trying. He never focused on why something had not worked. Instead, he encouraged us to continue exploring until we found a solution.
That advice has stayed with me throughout my career. Whether it was moving from Classic to EJ1, from EJ1 to EJ2, or working through difficult challenges, I have seen how much can be achieved by simply not giving up too early.
Even today, whenever I face a problem, I remind myself of the same thing. If I keep trying, a solution will eventually emerge.
Challenges That Strengthened Me
One of the most challenging experiences in my career was working on the Blazor Diagram. Since it was a new platform, the component did not naturally align with the architecture, and our team spent nearly six months experimenting with different approaches. There were times when we were unsure whether we were moving in the right direction, but we continued working through trial and error without giving up.
What kept us going was the trust and encouragement we received from leaders like Vijayakumar sir and Vijayanand sir. Their confidence in our efforts gave us the motivation to keep pushing forward. In the end, we successfully delivered the component, and the performance concerns we had anticipated never became major issues.
Looking back, that experience taught me the value of persistence. More than a technical achievement, it strengthened my confidence in staying committed to a problem until a solution is found.
How the Journey Shaped Me
Looking back, one of the biggest changes in me has been the way I view growth and learning. Early in my career, I often compared myself with friends who had joined large MNCs through campus placements. However, over the years, I realized how much I was learning through the opportunities and challenges I experienced at Syncfusion. The continuous exposure to new technologies, products, and responsibilities helped me grow in ways I had never imagined.
The learning did not stop with technology. As I took on different roles and responsibilities, I learned how to understand people better, support teams through challenges, and approach problems from a broader perspective. This journey has strengthened my leadership and people management skills, giving me the confidence to guide others while continuing to learn from them. Looking back, I feel that every stage of my journey has played a role in shaping who I am today.
Finding A Sense of Belonging
One of the moments that gave me a true sense of belonging was when I left Syncfusion after nine years to explore a new opportunity. Within a couple of months, I realized it was not the right fit for me. During that time, Vijayakumar sir reached out to check on how I was doing. When I shared my thoughts and expressed my interest in returning, he immediately connected me with Vijayanand sir, who welcomed me back after a brief conversation.
What stayed with me was not just the opportunity to rejoin, but the trust and confidence they continued to place in me even after I had left. That experience made me realize how deeply connected I was to the organization and the people here.
My IT career began with Syncfusion, and even today, I feel that it is where I truly belong.
My Perspective on Leadership
When I think about leadership, one quality stands out above all else: keeping people motivated. I believe a leader should never discourage someone for making a mistake. Instead, it is important to understand the challenge, guide them in the right direction, and help them improve. Often, the way feedback is delivered matters just as much as the feedback itself.
I also believe in staying closely connected with my team. By understanding both their work-related and personal challenges, I can support them better and create an environment where they feel comfortable, confident, and motivated to grow.
Advice to Young Professionals
My advice to young professionals is to make the most of every opportunity to learn and grow. When I joined Syncfusion, I did not fully understand the scope it offered. It was only after a few years that I realized how much I had learned compared to where I started.
One thing I value about Syncfusion is that people are given the time, support, and encouragement to improve. However, that opportunity is meaningful only if you are willing to put in the effort. Stay curious, keep learning, and continue challenging yourself. Growth may not always be visible immediately, but over time, the results will speak for themselves.
Gratitude Along the Journey
When I look back on my journey, the person I feel most grateful for is my father. Despite having limited exposure to the opportunities available outside our hometown, he always encouraged and supported me in finding my own path. His belief in me played a significant role in helping me reach where I am today.
That support has also given me a strong sense of responsibility to continue growing and to contribute to my family's future. Looking back, I am deeply grateful for everything he has done in shaping my journey.
