My Current Role
I currently work as a Senior Product Manager for BoldSign, with a primary focus on external integrations. My role involves building connections between BoldSign and widely used platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot. The goal is to make it easier for customers to access and use BoldSign within the tools they already rely on. By improving these integrations, I help enhance the overall user experience while supporting both customer needs and product growth.
My Experience Throughout My Journey
This could include my life experiences, challenges overcome, personal growth, and lessons learned.
About Me
I am curious by nature and enjoy understanding how things work. I’m also a slightly introverted person who prefers to observe, think, and understand a situation before acting.
I do not give up easily, and once I take up responsibility, I like to do it properly and pay attention to the details. I tend to think deeply about things, and even small situations or interactions often stay with me.
Above all, I value relationships and the people around me. My family and friends are very important to me, and I genuinely enjoy spending quality time with them.
My Career Journey
My journey into IT began during my secondary school years when my brother received a government laptop through school. Until then, I knew very little about computers, but having a laptop at home sparked my curiosity. I spent time exploring it, understanding how it worked, and gradually developed a strong interest in technology.
As that interest grew, I became clear about the direction I wanted to take. When it was time to choose my higher secondary group, I confidently selected Computer Science, even though other options were suggested. Later, my uncle, who was a college professor, encouraged me to learn more about the field and helped strengthen my interest in it.
After completing my studies, a friend suggested that I attend an interview at Syncfusion. I was selected as a Software Engineer and began my professional journey in the PDF team under the IO team. Looking back, it all started with a simple curiosity that eventually shaped the career path I follow today.
Key Learnings and Challenges
One of the biggest challenges in my early career was working on complex PDF technologies such as HTML-to-PDF and Chromium-based solutions. At the time, there were only three of us working on these projects, and there were very few resources available to guide us. We often had to explore for information ourselves, experiment with different approaches, and learn through trial and error.
The work was demanding because we were dealing with large open-source technologies while building solutions from the ground up. There were many moments when progress was slow and finding the right solution took patience and persistence. But giving up was never an option.
That experience taught me an important lesson: even when the path is unclear, consistent effort eventually leads to answers. Every challenge I worked through increased my confidence and strengthened my ability to learn, adapt, and solve problems. More than anything, it helped me develop a mindset of perseverance, a quality that continues to guide me whenever I face challenges today.
Reframing My Understanding
In my earlier years, I would give up if something did not work after a certain level of effort. If I tried a few times and could not find a way forward, I would leave it there. One of the most important things I learned after joining Syncfusion was not to give up easily.
As I worked through challenging projects, I realized that solutions do not always come quickly. Many problems required patience, continuous learning, and repeated effort before the answer became clear. Those experiences taught me that progress often comes from staying with a problem a little longer rather than giving up too soon.
Over time, this changed the way I approached challenges. I became more patient, more willing to keep trying, and more confident in my ability to find a way forward. That mindset has stayed with me not only in my work but also in my personal life, helping me face difficult situations with greater resilience and perseverance.
Small mistakes can become big obstacles; small improvements can lead to great success.

My Advice to Young Professionals
My advice to young professionals is to always understand the purpose behind your work. Don’t just focus on completing a task - try to understand why it matters, who will benefit from it, and how it creates value. When you understand the bigger picture, you naturally feel more connected to your work and will be able to take greater ownership of it.
I also believe it is important to treat people with patience and respect. Small disagreements or temporary situations should not damage relationships. The way we handle people often leaves a lasting impression, so I feel it is always better to approach situations calmly, show understanding, and maintain positive relationships along the way.
People Who Influenced Me
One person who has had a significant influence on me is my friend Vijay Ramachandran. He was both my classmate and colleague at Syncfusion. Since he became a Team Lead before I did, I learned a lot from his experiences and advice. When I took on leadership responsibilities myself, many of the lessons I followed in managing a team came from my conversations with him.
In my early days as a Team Lead, I often felt pressured when things did not go as planned. Vijay helped me see leadership from a different perspective. He would remind me that when a leader becomes stressed or frustrated, it affects the entire team. Instead, he encouraged me to stay calm, understand people, and guide them with patience.
Looking back, his guidance played an important role in shaping my approach to leadership and the way I work with my team.
A Challenge That Strengthened Me
One experience that strengthened me early in my career was handling my first customer meeting on my own. My former manager, Karthikeyan, initially invited me to join a customer discussion so that I could observe how such conversations were handled. Since it was with a US customer, I found it difficult to follow the accent at first, so he led the meeting and later took the time to explain everything to me.
Soon after, another customer meeting came up, and he asked me to handle it independently. Having attended only one meeting before, I was naturally nervous and unsure of myself. However, I took it as an opportunity to learn and gave it my best.
That experience gave me a new level of confidence. It showed me that I was capable of handling situations that initially felt challenging. Over time, I became involved in more customer discussions and gradually grew more comfortable and independent. Looking back, that opportunity helped me build the confidence to take on new responsibilities without hesitation.
My Best Appreciation
One of the most memorable appreciations I received came during the first year of my career. At the time, I was working on an important feature in the PDF team as part of the HTML to PDF project. It was a challenging piece of work, and much of the solution had to be built and improved step by step while we learned and explored the technology along the way.
The journey was not easy, and there were many challenges to overcome before we could complete it successfully. When the feature was finally delivered, I received appreciation for my contribution. As the first recognition of my career, it was a moment I will always remember.
More than the appreciation itself, it gave me confidence. It reassured me that I could take on difficult challenges, learn new things, and deliver meaningful results. Even today, that recognition remains special because it marked the beginning of my belief in my own abilities.
Gratitude Along the Journey
I feel grateful for the people who guided me at different stages of my life. In my personal life, my uncle, Anbu, a professor, had a strong impact on me through his guidance and passion for learning.
In my professional life, one person I am especially thankful for is George Livingston, my first manager. During the early stages of my career, he taught me many valuable lessons. What stood out most was the way he helped me learn from mistakes. Instead of focusing on what went wrong, he encouraged me to understand the cause, learn from the experience, and avoid repeating it. He also taught me the importance of persistence and the value of continuing to try, even when challenges seemed difficult.
Looking back, I am grateful to everyone who guided me, supported my growth, and helped shape the way I think and approach life today.
My Personal Achievement
One of my proudest personal achievements is being able to build a strong foundation for my family through years of hard work. In my hometown, Madurai, I was able to own land, build a home, and purchase a car using my own earnings.
These may seem like simple milestones, but for me they carry deep meaning because they are the result of years of hard work and determination. Each step reminds me of how far I have come and the value of perseverance over time.
When I look back, I feel proud not only of these achievements but also of being able to provide a comfortable and secure life for my family.
Moments That Make Me Smile
Some of the happiest memories from my journey come from the simple team lunches and dinners we shared during the early days at the office. Whenever someone in the team had a birthday, anniversary, or any small occasion to celebrate, we would gather, order food, and enjoy the moment as a team. Even an ordinary workday would instantly feel special during those occasions.
Most of the time, everyone would be busy with their own work, so these gatherings gave us an opportunity to pause, connect, and spend time together. Sitting around the same table, sharing food, talking, and laughing would turn simple moments into memorable experiences. Over the years, we had many such lunches and dinners, each creating its own set of happy memories. They may have seemed like small moments at the time, but they brought a strong sense of togetherness and joy that I still remember fondly.
