My Current Role

I work as Senior Product Manager for the BoldSales product. Since the product is still evolving, my role goes beyond traditional product management. Depending on the team’s needs, I switch between different responsibilities—planning releases, prioritizing features, reviewing technical work, guiding the team, and even contributing to development when required. I work closely with the team to set priorities, track progress, and ensure we’re building the right features at the right time.

About Me

I’d describe myself as a simple person. I prefer interacting with people in a calm and respectful way. Depending on the situation, I adapt the way I respond. Whenever I feel there’s an area where I can improve, I make an effort to work on it, whether it’s my communication, technical skills, or anything else.

Beyond work, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, going for walks, playing with friends, or simply spending light-hearted time with my siblings. I just do whatever helps me relax and recharge.

My Career Journey

Mathematics always fascinated me as a student. During my 12th grade, my Maths teacher inspired me so much that I even dreamed of becoming a Maths teacher. Although I wanted to pursue B.Sc. Mathematics, my family encouraged me to choose engineering, believing it would offer better career opportunities. That decision eventually became the starting point of my professional journey.

After completing my engineering degree in 2016, I started searching for opportunities. Although I found a few jobs, the timing and work environment didn’t feel like the right fit, so I kept looking. During that time, I attended an interview at Syncfusion and returned to my hometown, not expecting to hear back. A few months later, I was invited back for the second round, where Rajasekar, a member of the interview panel, encouraged and motivated me throughout the process. His support gave me the confidence to clear the interview. I joined Syncfusion as a Software Engineer, and even today, our culture remains one of the biggest reasons I’ve continued my journey here.

People Who Inspired Me

I don’t believe inspiration comes from following just one person. I admire different people for different qualities. Professionally, the two people who have inspired me the most are Nijamudeen and Selva Ganapathy. What I admire most about them is the way they support and encourage the people around them. They are always willing to share their experience, offer guidance when it’s needed, and genuinely care about the growth of their team members. Over the years, their encouragement and the way they lead people have had a lasting impact on me. It’s an approach I truly respect and one I hope to reflect in my own journey as a leader.

Advice to Young Professionals

Be open in your communication from the very beginning of your career. If you’ve made a mistake, come across an issue, need more time, or feel something isn’t right, don’t hesitate to speak up. Trying to hide a problem or deal with it alone often makes things more difficult later, both for you and your team. The same goes for feedback and ideas—if you believe something can be improved, share your thoughts and discuss them openly. Honest communication builds trust, makes collaboration easier, and helps everyone find better solutions together.

My Perspective on Leadership

To me, a good leader is someone who always stands by their team. No matter what challenges or pressure come from outside, a leader should take responsibility for handling them without allowing that pressure to affect the team. When people feel supported, they're able to stay focused and give their best.

At the same time, I believe leadership is about understanding people. Every individual has different strengths, works at a different pace, and brings something unique to the team. Rather than comparing people or judging them solely by their productivity, a good leader recognizes their potential, supports their growth, and creates an environment where they can succeed.
