Instillation Problem

I am trying to install Version  Essential Studio ver. 19.4.0.38 .
a message "The process terminated Unexpectedly"

Hi Ahmed, 

We deeply regret for the inconvenience caused.  
 
Recently we have been facing the issue like alert message "Process terminated unexpectedly" during Syncfusion extension packages installation in Visual Studio 2022 installed machines. 
 
Reason for this issue 
 
The reported problem only occurs in official version VS2022, and it does not exist in prior preview versions of Visual Studio. Microsoft resolved this issue in their latest preview version of Visual Studio 2022 version 17.1 Preview 1.  

   

We are hoping that Microsoft will be including this fix in their upcoming official release too.  

Solution for this issue 
 
1. If you are using the official release of VS 2022 17.0.1  reported Process terminated unexpectedly issue will occur during our setup installation and you can click OK in the error window and proceed our Syncfusion setup’s installation. 
 
2. Once installation completed, follow the steps mentioned in below kB article to configure the toolbox controls and extension packages. 
 
After this, Syncfusion tool box and extension packages will be configured in the available Visual Studio 2022. 
 
If still the reported installation problem not resolved, please share the following information with us. 
 
  1. Kindly follow the steps suggested in the below KB article link and send us the zip file which consists of Syncfusion Installer logs generated by our too
 
  1. Windows OS version with build number
 
        
 
  1. List of Visual Studio versions installed. 
 
  1. Visual Studio 2022 version details

I just installed the most recent version of the Syncfusion components and experienced this as well. Every single package that installed (there were 19 of them) gave me this same error every time. 


I have Visual Studio 2019 (16.11.7) and 2022 (17.0.4) installed. Windows 10.0.19043 Build 19043

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

The reported process terminated unexpectedly issue not occurs in the preview versions of VS 2022 and only occurs in the official version of VS 2022.

We are hoping that Microsoft will be including this fix in their upcoming official release too. 


You can click OK in the alert message and proceed the installation. If you have faced toolbox and extension configuration issues after installation, please follow the steps suggested in the below KB article to resolve that.

If still you are facing issues in extension configuration or toolbox controls, please follow this guidelines and share the installer logs generated by our tool. It will be helpful for us to analyze the problem and provide you proper solution as earliest as possible.

Step 1 - Check whether the problem is a known issue.

Step 2 - Try repairing Visual Studio.

Step 3 - Check with the developer community.

Step 4 - Delete the Visual Studio Installer folder to fix upgrade problems.

Step 5 - Report a problem.

Step 6 - Remove Visual Studio installation files.

I solved this problem by restoring windows to earlier restore point .
