The Syncfusion licensing model is simple and flexible, allowing you to focus on your work without getting lost in the fine print. With clear, royalty-free terms, Syncfusion eliminates the complications and hidden costs often found in software agreements.

Who needs a license?

Every individual who has access and/or the ability to patch, bug fix, code, add a line of code, modify any code, compile, develop, or recompile anything that contains, links to (directly or indirectly), is compiled against, compiles any DLL, or otherwise calls to or relies on the Syncfusion’s software must have a license.

Licenses cannot be shared. Each developer must have their own license.

Subscription

A Syncfusion license is a subscription license. You’ll need to continue to keep an active subscription to possess Syncfusion’s software.

Syncfusion license highlights

  • No royalties, run-time fees, or server deployment charges.
  • Team licensing: Licenses are available for individual users and can be purchased in blocks of 5, 10, or more.
  • Unlimited licensing: For fluid teams, we have flexible licenses that cover an entire project, division, or company.
  • Community licensing: Available for companies and individuals with annual gross revenue under $1 million, five or fewer developers, and 10 or fewer total employees.
  • To qualify for the Community License, an organization must not have received more than $3 million in capital from external sources like private equity or venture capital.
  • We recognize that you may use more than one machine for development. Our license permits our products to be installed on multiple PCs. Work machine, home computer, laptop—one price covers all.
  • The usage of Essential Studio is governed by the End User License Agreement (EULA) and, if applicable, a Master License Agreement signed by both parties.

We want to be very transparent that this license is a subscription license. You will need to continue to keep an active subscription to possess Syncfusion’s software.

Permitted You are permitted to:
Not recall anything that has already been distributed outside of your organization.
Not Permitted You are not permitted to:
  • Continue to possess Syncfusion’s software; OR
  • Possess, distribute, lease, license, or provide maintenance to any applications that contain or depend on Syncfusion’s software; OR
  • Perform any future updates on anything that contains or depends on Syncfusion’s software.
