Steps to reproduce the error:
1. Open the following link: https://stackblitz.com/edit/ns6rcb-eduomp?file=index.js,index.html
2. The "Standalone PDF Viewer" option must be activated.
3. Click on the folder icon (Open file) and open the PDF document attached to this message.
4. Right click on a field, access the Properties and activate the Required checkbox.
5. Click on Download the document and save it on your PC.
6. The "Standalone PDF Viewer" option must be deactivated (If it remains activated, it does not even open the document).
7. Click on the folder icon (Open file) and open the PDF document we saved in step 5.
8. The field previously marked as Required does not appear in the document (it has been removed).
Hi Pere,
We were able to replicate the reported behaviour " The checkbox set as required gets removed" and we will validate and provide further details in two business days.

Hi,
Note that it is not only in the fields that are marked as required, but any field that is modified is then deleted.
Hi Pere,
The modified form
fields are not deleted, we have provided the video recording for this.
Video: https://www.syncfusion.com/downloads/support/directtrac/general/ze/FormFieldsVideo1187296599.zip
Please review the video recording and provide further details about the scenario in which the modified fields are being deleted.
When I say modified fields, I mean changing a property of the field (modifying the background color, the border, the field name, etc.).
Try modifying the properties of several fields and you will see that these fields do not appear.
Hi Pere,
Thank you for the
update. We have included the last mentioned scenario in our validation process.
Currently, we are actively investigating this issue, and we will provide
further details within the next two business days.

for the inconvenience. The reported issue occurred on both the PDF Viewer and
PDF Library sides, causing additional challenges in resolving it. We are
actively working on fixing this issue, and the fix will be included in our
upcoming weekly release on June 12, 2024.
When will the error be fixed? We still can't edit the documents because the fields are deleted...
Hi Pere,
We
apologize for the inconvenience. We have addressed the reported issue, but due
to the 2024 Volume 2 main release code freeze, the fix was not included in the
latest volume release. However, the fix for the reported issue will be
incorporated in our upcoming weekly release on June
19, 2024.
It still does not work with yesterday's latest version.
Hi Pere,
We apologize for the
inconvenience.
Due to stability concerns, we were unable to include the fix for the issue in the weekly release on June 19, 2024, as promised. We are currently working on this with high priority and will include the fix in the upcoming weekly release, which will be available on June 26, 2024.
Still not working in 26.1.39 version
Hi Pere,
Sorry for the
inconvenience.
The input document is encrypted, and handling issue fix within saving the PDF as incremental updated and archived stream is more complex than expected. As a result, we are unable to complete this issue within the original timeline. We are prioritizing this issue and will include the fix in the upcoming weekly release on July 3, 2024.
Hi,
We have fixed the reported issue " Changes made to a form field in standalone mode do not reflect the modifications in reload" and the fix for the reported issue was included in our latest weekly release v26.1.40. Kindly upgrade to that version to get the issue resolved.
Root cause: During an incremental update, when the object count exceeds 100, subsequent object values are written in a single archive stream. This causes form fill values to not be preserved.
Solution: Archive stream objects are now separated, with a maximum of 100 objects written in a single archive stream after an incremental update.
