Incorrect handling of super/subscript in LaTex

Hello,

I am trying to display an equation which has a superscript and a subscript using the code below:

\left( \frac{\sum {M}^{*}_{pb}}{\sum {M}^{*}_{pc}} \right)_x

When inserted into this code editor (https://editor.codecogs.com/) the correct output is displayed. However, in the attached zip, the output word file shows incorrect handling of the equation. Is there a solution for this?

Thanks.

Natalie, as promised earlier, we have included the fix for the reported bug with “LaTeX contains NArray with subsuperscript not preserved properly while calling AppendMath API in our latest weekly NuGet release (v25.1.39).

Root cause of the issue:
If an equation contains NArray with equation after subsuperscript accepts in Microsoft Word. In DocIO, NArray with equation after subsuperscript not accepted.

This fix seems to have partially fixed the issue, but now when the equation is displayed in PDF, the parentheses overlap some of the symbols. This does not occur in the word document. Please see Output attached.

Natalie, as promised earlier, we have included the fix for the reported bug with “Delimiter with Subscript-Superscript equation is not preserved properly in Word to PDF conversion” in our latest weekly NuGet release (v25.1.42).

Root cause of the issue:
In the Word document input, there is a right subscript-superscript within a delimiter in an equation. While layouting the subscript-superscript, we took into account the superscript's width to determine the position of the end delimiter. However, in this instance, we need to consider the subscript's width to determine the position of the end delimiter. As a result, we are encountering the reported preservation issue.
