Debug Suggestions - unreadable content after creating a pivot using XlsIO

Hello,
I'm looking for debugging suggestions before I go the "keep cutting down the data and pray" route. I'm not really expecting an answer, but I figured it was worth a post :)
I created a workbook with three worksheets that have about 500k rows each. If I create thee pivots in Excel, all is well. If I use XlsIO, I get the following when opening the workbook: We found a problem with some content in '<myfile.xlsx>'. Do you want us to try to recover as much as we can? After clicking yes, Excel is able to open the workbook. it says it removed the unreadable content:
Repaired Records: PivotTable report from /xl/pivotTables/pivotTable1.xml part (PivotTable view)
Repaired Records: PivotTable report from /xl/pivotTables/pivotTable2.xml part (PivotTable view)

Please share the corrupted input Excel document for further validation.

Thank you for helping. I'll see if I can reduce the data set first. Also, it has data that can't be posted to the forum that I might be able to trim out of it.
It was "tab" characters in the data. :(
