OriginLine disappearing when adding additional YAxis with different scale

Good morning,

We are having the following issue with SfChart , as shown in the screenshots from a demo application below:

We have a sfChart with an OriginLine (red dotted line) and a LineSeries (orange).

Be pressing the button (Add 2nd series) we are adding an additional YAxis to the right with a different scale, which is bound to another LineSeries (green). As you can see, the OriginLine (red dotted line) has disappeared.

Is there a way to show both of them at the same time?

We are currently validating the reported issue regarding the disappearance of the origin line while dynamically adding the series and numerical axis to SfChart. We will provide an update on the status tomorrow (24/01/2023).

We were able to reproduce the reported issue where the origin line disappeared while dynamically adding the series. Our development team is currently validating this issue on our end. We will provide an update tomorrow (25/01/2024).

We acknowledge the disappearance of the origin line as an issue. Our development team will need time to validate it at our end. Therefore, we will provide an update on or before two business days (30/01/2024).

We have created a bug report for the issue where the origin line disappears on dynamic series addition with a new dependent axis. You can track the following link:

The fix will be available in the upcoming weekly NuGet release, expected to roll out on or before February 7th, 2024.

Hi Andreas,


We have fixed the reported issue and are currently experiencing ongoing delays in the automation process to incorporate the fix into the latest weekly NuGet package. Additionally, we have created a custom DLL for the reported issue.


Version: 24.2.4.0


Note: Please add the custom WPF DLL to the sample.


The fix will be included in the upcoming weekly NuGet package. We will update you once it is published.

The fix for the reported issue related to origin line disappearing when adding the additional Y axis with different scale has been included in our latest weekly Nuget release, version 24.2.5 which is available for download (https://www.nuget.org/).
