Theme Choice

The choice of a Theme (eg material3 instead Bootstrap5 instead Tailwindcss) is only a matter of css applied and finally colors, fonts, sizes, rounded corner, etc. or involves something more...

Eg. if i choose Tailwind because I like the general visual aspect, am I then forced to use their entire ecosystem and classnames ?
