Timepicker does not change the value and does not signal a wrong format.

When the initial timepicker value is e.g. 07:00 and I enter the wrong format during editing, e.g. 07: XX, the timepicker value does not change. It's still 7:00.

How can I detect that there is incorrect data entered in a component?

The problem is that the value of e.g. 7:15 is also wrong (there is no leading zero).

we have planned for the mask support feature at our end, which does not allow the DatePicker component to enter an invalid date. Your requirement can be achieved with the required validation once it has been implemented. 

The feature will be included in any of the upcoming releases. Now you can track the status on the feedback link below.
