Does Document Editor support content control in word?

Dear Syncfusion's support team,

Team can help me to check some errors below, currently I don't see support content control in word.

When I open the word file on the UI, I see the backend using the import function, I see a json return as .sfdt. If I return the file .docx as base64, will the support show on the UI (I use react)?

Hi Qui,


Currently, the document editor only provides support to preserve content control without any data loss. The document editor doesn’t provide support for UI options to add or edit content control.

 

 We have already logged this as feature request. We don’t have any immediate plans to implement this feature now.

 

We usually have an interval of at least three months between the releases. At the planning stage for every release cycle, we review all open features once again and finalize features for implementation based on specific parameters including product vision, technological feasibility, and customer interest. We will let you know when this feature is implemented.

Could you please share the actual document which you have used to report the issue ? it will be helpful to validate further and provide you the solution at the earliest.

We tried to replicate the reported issue in the latest version (v20.3.52). We couldn't reproduce it on our end.

Could you please share the document editor version details? It will be helpful to validate this further and provide you with the solution as soon as possible.


##layout issue in header and table border issue

We are facing layout issues in the header and table border issues. 

Currently we are validating this and We will update further details on this by November 8, 2022.

We have confirmed the reported issue as a defect and logged a defect report. We will fix this issue in our EJ2 patch release which is scheduled for the third week of November.
