Need Help About Multiselect with CustomValue

Hi,

I'm using item template and custom value in multiselect. But when choosing new custom value and click outside box, the value is displayed as a number, not the text i enter. 

Also when using item template the 'CustomSelection" event is not firing.


How can i fix these issues and provide new value to custom item before added ?


Attaching a sample. Simplified the item template for convenience.

Hi Halit,

We have already considered the reported issue "While selecting the custom value unwanted values also appended" as a bug from our end and the fix for the issue will be included with our upcoming Vol 2 2022 main release which is expected to be rolled out on the end of June 2022.

Query 2. "Also when using item template the 'CustomSelection" event is not firing."

We have tried to reproduce the reported issue from our end. but we can be able to see that the customValueSelection event got triggered when selecting custom value. we have also prepared a sample for your reference,

Can you please share us with the issue reproducing runnable sample or code snippet to further validate on the issue.

As we mentioned earlier, we have considered the reported issue as bug on our end and will be fixed in our July 19th patch release. You can track the status of the issue by the below feedback link.

We are resolved this case. Fix in testing phase, we will include in July 12th patch release. If ensured earlier then we will provide the patch.


Query 2. "Also when using item template the 'CustomSelection" event is not firing."


As we mentioned earlier the fix will be included on the July 19th 2022 patch release.

We have fixed the reported issue from our end in the latest 20.2.38 version (Release Notes). So, we suggest you upgrade to our latest version to resolve the current issue.
