XAML Template Definition doesn't work for resources

When simply trying to customize the ResourceItemTemplate by simply adding the xaml it does not work.

            <d:SfSchedule.ResourceItemTemplate>

                <DataTemplate>

                    <StackLayout>

                        <Label Text="{Binding Name}" TextColor="{DynamicResource TextPrimaryColor}" />

                    </StackLayout>

                </DataTemplate>

            </d:SfSchedule.ResourceItemTemplate>


I know I can create a separate class, but why should this not work?

We have logged the issue report for the same. We will fix the issue and include the issue fix in our Weekly nuget release which is expected to roll out on July 12, 2022. We appreciate your patience until then.

Hi Michael,


#Regarding ResourceItemTemplate is not rendering correctly in the view

We have fixed the reported issue, but it takes more time for testing longer than we expected. Also due to the stability of the control, we are not including it in this weekly nuget release. But assuredly, we will include it in our upcoming weekly nuget which is expected to roll out on July 19, 2022. We will let you once nuget gets published and appreciate your patience until then.

I can confirm that the new release is working now!

The documentation on the website should be adjusted to explain that the actual object is mapped and that the template can contain any metadata of the object. 

As it is right now it looks like it is only possible to use the mapping ti
