Why does the installer ask me for .Net Core 3.1?

I just downloaded the Essential Studio Installer. When I try to install Blazor or MAUI components I get a message saying Aditional Software Required: .NET Core SDK 3.1. I have .net SDK 6.0.300 installed and AFAIK Syncfusion components are compatible with .net 6. Seems that there is something I don't quite understand about this. Can someone help? thanks a lot.

Hi Rodrigo,

Yes, both Syncfusion Blazor and MAUI components are compatible with .NET 6.0.

We have already resolved the reported SDK alert displayed in Blazor installer when installing our setup in the NET 6.0 SDK alone machine, and the fix is included in the 2022 Volume 1 SP release. Could you kindly install the updated v20.1.0.55 from the forum link below?

Essential Studio 2022 Volume 1 SP Release v20.1.0.55 is available for download | Announcements Forums | Syncfusion

For MAUI, could you please tell us where the “Additional Software Required” for MAUI message was displayed?

If still, this is not working, please share with us the following items.

  1. Please follow this guidelines and share the installer logs generated by our tool to check the problem.

  1. Screenshot of the errors for both (Blazor and MAUI).
